Der Fotograf und Regisseur Scotty JX arbeitet überwiegend für seine eigene Website, Actiongirls; die Idee zu diesem ungewöhnlichen Projekt entwickelte er bereits im Jahr 2001, als er eine Fotoserie mit Veronica Zemanova und Flammenwerfer <sic!> fotografierte. Es folgten weitere Fotoserien mit namhaften Modellen wie Sylvia Saint und Martina Fox, bis im Juni 2003 schließlich Actiongirls.com online ging.
Seitdem arbeitet er jährlich etwa drei bis vier Monate überwiegend an osteuropäischen Locations, wo er Modelle ab wie Veronica Zemanova, Sylvia Saint, Susana Spears, Nancy Lane, Erica Campbell, Ashley Robbins, Raylene Richards, Marketa Morgan, Julie, Adrianna Zarcova, Liliane Tiger, Silvie Thomas, Amy Easton, Martina Fox, Veronica Vanoza, Chantell Williams, Victoria Roberts, Zabrina Aamir, Heather Sims, Susan Carter, Andrea Torres, Marketa Michaels, Denisa u.a. ablichtete.
